You'll be at the heart of managing and supervising both ongoing and future Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) projects, assuring quality oversight, and driving the completion of designs and construction management.
Required Skills for Project Engineer RoleThe perfect candidate will be computer literate, with proficiency in various office applications, along with the capacity to work with diverse data repositories.
They will be adept at producing and maintaining project management documentation.
Role Specification for Environmental EngineerAs an Environmental Engineer at MAFB, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your experience in conducting and documenting Phase I or II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) or Environmental Baseline Surveys (EBSs).
Although an Environmental Engineering degree is preferred, it isn't a requirement for this role.
Your expertise will drive the planning, organization, and leadership of studies, designs, and construction projects, all while recording and managing the processes and documentation.
You'll have a knack for negotiating effectively with management to implement recommendations that involve considerable resources and require comprehensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
Your communication skills, both verbal and written, will help you negotiate complex issues and maintain strong working relationships.
You should also be able to safely operate a motor vehicle, comfortably navigating throughout the missile field on both paved and gravel roads.
