CBA - Weapons Mechanic III - AFGSC (HSS) - Malmstrom AFB, MT

The Weapons Mechanic II performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and other associated equipment, mounts,squibs,CAD/PAD,and shop support items in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS.
Skills &
Responsibilities:
Performs cleaning and corrosion treatment on gun system components.
Removes and replaces aircraft-installed weapons systems components and equipment.
Removes and installs guns.
Perform flight line functions including preflight and postflight weapons requirements to include guard duties as directed-document all inspection and maintenance actions in aircraft forms and IMDS.
Follows established armory and maintenance room security procedures.
Complies with Flightline munitions accountability requirementsIAW AFI21-201.
PerformsRed XandIPI inspections.
Practices good housekeeping,tool control,FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
Applies technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.
Performs basic helicopter ground handling procedures such as towing,jacking, and refuel/defuel.
OperatesGroundSupport Equipment.
Participates inFODwalks.
Qualifications:
Recent experience at the 5 level (or equivalent) as a Weapons/Armament specialist (1 year within the last 3years).
Knowledge and experience in technical,safety,and environmental issues involving Weapons maintenance.
Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Weapons technical procedures.
USAF or equivalent Weapons formal military training required.
Extensive knowledge of Weapons maintenance procedures,troubleshooting,technical publications, special tools,test equipment,and safety procedures required.
Weapons qualifications and munitions are handling certifications as applicable.
Working knowledge of IMDS and other computer programs.
Ability to move about both inside aircraft hangar and outside on aircraft ramp within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
Willing to travel on occasion.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
