4K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Library Custodian/Logistics Specialist to join our team at Malmstrom AFB, MT.
This position maintains TOs in accordance with TO 00-5-1 which are located in TO sub-accounts, dispatch kits, and the reference library.
Provides customer service to airmen to include locating TOs, issuing TOs, receiving TOs and making copies of TO pages and time compliance technical orders.
Posts TO change updates in accordance with governing directives.
Performs a list of effective page checks to TOs to ensure 100% accuracy.
Performs sequence checks of TOs returned to the library from dispatch kits.
Perform an inventory on returned dispatch kits to ensure accountability.
Replace torn, heavily scuffed, dirty and/or illegible pages.
Maintain binders in serviceable condition and replace when necessary.
Monthly activities; Conducts sub-account inventory to ensure all TOs are accounted-for.
Add and remove TOs to/from sub-accounts.
Updates sub-account inventories and binder labels to reflect the contents of the sub-account.
Disposes of superseded TO pages by means of shredding.
Completes required classes per the government contract.
What you'll be doing:
Maintain all units required TOs IAW TO 00-5-1, AF TO Systems and applicable MAJCOM supplements.
Maintain all binders in a serviceable condition and replace torn, heavily scuffed, dirty, or illegible pages as necessary.
Maintain plastic covers on unit-designated nuclear weapons procedures required by Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-204, AFI 21-202V1.
Maintain a current inventory list on all assigned materials in field dispatching kits, main library and sub-accounts.
Post all TO updates IAW applicable governing directives.
Perform a list of effective changes check (A-Page) IAW TO 00-5-1 and application MAJCOM supplements.
Schedule an appointment for T.
O inventories/A-Page functions to be performed and the agreed upon appointment must be honored unless for extreme real world emergencies.
Establish and maintain a sign out procedure to track all signed out TOs and TO kits to include who signed out TO, section individual is assigned to, and contract phone number Upon the discovery of an unaccounted TO, initiate a missing TO report by 1400 local time the next duty day.
The missing TO report will include:
Name, office symbol, date, duty phone, team, and a narrative about events that led to the discovery of the missing item.
If the sign out log showed that the TO went to the missile field, Missile Maintenance Operations Center (MMOC) will be notified within 30 minutes of initiating a missing TO report.
Contact the COR and the work center supervisor/Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) who was accountable for the TO.
What you'll need:
At least a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years related experience Library experience including demonstrated preferred:
Knowledge of paper and digital TO maintenance and distribution in support of mission activities Knowledge of guidance in AF Technical Data requirements and processes Knowledge of eTools systems Must be able to operate a motor vehicle on a government installation, as travel from one work place to another is required.
