Job Description
CACI Seeking an Electrical/Electronics Technician based on FE Warren AFB, WY, Barksdale AFB, LA , Malmstrom AFB, MT to Support our Customer.
What You'll Get to Do:
Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment.
This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components.
Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the solution. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed.
Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.
Under general supervision, provides the maintenance of site/field equipment and/or the installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and associated wiring at the customer site location.
Supports an installation team and performs a wide variety of complex activities associated with installing, maintaining, servicing, and testing electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
Understands and interprets electrical & mechanical drawings.
Applies technical knowledge of electronic principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve problems.
Works closely with others regarding scheduling and general technical requirements.
Maintains a project folder that shows the project phases from beginning to close out.
Maintains solution standards/processes/policy documentation as agreed, having regard for accepted business standards.
Builds, develops, and maintains productive relationships with clients and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality technical service.
May make recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.
Provides instruction and guidance via training courses to customer's personnel.
Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. Provides work leadership to less-experienced field engineers and technicians.
May participate in special projects as required.
Coordinates the logistics needs for field service projects, including the selection of qualified personnel/resources for assignments.
Required Skills :
Possesses a minimum of five years of technical experience in a specific function/technological area related to physical or electronic security systems.
Possesses a bachelor's degree or equivalent in that functional/technological area.
An additional four years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Current, active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
